Sonya is the co-owner of See Side Optical and a qualified optical dispenser with more than 28 years of industry experience. Passionate about helping people achieve better vision, she enjoys guiding patients to the right eyewear solutions while creating a welcoming, community-focused practice. Together with Linda Simpson, Sonya has helped grow See Side Optical into a trusted independent practice serving the Thirroul community.

Linda is a qualified optical dispenser with more than 35 years of experience in the optical industry. She enjoys helping patients find the right eyewear, from first-time glasses to more complex prescriptions, and is dedicated to delivering personalised service. As co-owner of See Side Optical, Linda has helped build a practice known for its professional care and strong community connections.

Nuong Turner graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Optometry before completing further qualifications in Ocular Therapeutics. With almost three decades of clinical experience, she has a special interest in children’s vision, behavioural optometry and family eye care. Nuong enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve lifelong eye health through personalised care and evidence-based treatment.

Manuel Combes completed his Bachelor of Optometry at the University of New South Wales in 1981 and has worked extensively in independent optometry throughout his career. Having owned practices in Sydney before relocating to the Illawarra, he brings decades of experience in comprehensive eye care and is passionate about supporting the local community with personalised vision solutions.

Elias Combes graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry and Vision Science from the University of New South Wales in 2012 and is qualified to prescribe ophthalmic medicines. Since graduating, he has worked exclusively in independent optometry across Sydney and the Illawarra, providing comprehensive eye examinations and ongoing management of a wide range of eye conditions.

Natalie has nearly 20 years of experience as an optical dispenser and has been part of the See Side Optical team since 2011. She enjoys helping patients solve their optical needs and takes pride in providing practical advice and personalised service to ensure the best possible vision outcomes.

Jackie has worked as an optical dispenser for more than 30 years and has been part of the See Side Optical team for over 15 years. She enjoys helping patients find the right eyewear for their needs and values the supportive team environment that contributes to a positive patient experience.

Leah is a licensed optical dispenser with more than 23 years of industry experience. She enjoys working alongside a like-minded team while helping members of the local community achieve a clear, comfortable vision through personalised eyewear solutions.

Imogen joined See Side Optical in 2022 and enjoys being part of the practice's supportive and positive team environment. She is committed to expanding her knowledge in optical dispensing while helping patients receive friendly, personalised care and quality eyewear solutions.
